Magical Crafts Forum Christmas Card Challenge...

Here is my enrty for
Magical Crafts Forum,
The challenge was st by our lovely Liz, an open theme, anything goes,
I ain't been crafting lately, as i have not been well, was feeling a bit sorry for myself today lurking around or should i say slouching around from having a sickness bug, of course numpty here has to catch it, on top of everything else, so thought i would try to craft a little to take my mind off things...
Anyway gonna keep it short as my head is pounding...

My New Long Awaited Log Burner....

I can not thank my hubby enough for this, it has caused him so much hassel, but the end results blew me away, just what i needed for a pick me up, just acouple of things to tweak and all done, i will post a piccie when it is burning, at the mo we can only light small fires in it so the iron does not spilt, it is gorgeous when lit.
Love him to bits...

DT Project For Magical Crafts 2nd Challenge

Not been up to much lately, hence the lack of ANYTHING happening on my blog,

Santa Claus On MDF Wooden Plaque..

Yipeeee another tole painting, think i have the bug for this now...lol...
Had no instructions for this one, as the piccie comes from a spanish painting book, well there would be instructions if i could read spanish...lol.....
Hope you like, i strongly reccomend you have a go at this, it is so relaxing...

MY FIRST TOLE PAINTING....

Hi All..

This is my first tole painting on MDF wood, painted with acyrlic paints, it is a design by Susan Kelly, a fabbie artist..
My dear buddy SHELL, gave me the boot up the backside i needed to get my paints out, i brought the brushes and paints about couple of yrs ago and never used them, after becoming great friends and also a member of my DT Team, shell kindly steered me in the right direction, Shells work is amazing pop over and check out shells tole painting and what she gets up to in that shed of hers...lol...
Thanks hunnie bunnie, with out you the paints and bits would still be packed,
Oh must say it is alot of work but so worth it, i reccomend anyone having a go...

My DT project for Magical Crafts Fortnightly Blog...

Morning guy.s..

After all the hard work me, JOANNE and the DT Team have put in, MAGICAL CRAFTS FORTNIGHTLY BLOG, launched today.
The challenge was to,

Make a christmas card, and or,
A christmas ornament,
But they also had a colour scheme of,
RED,
GREEN,
GOLD,

Ahhh what fun we have had, all the projects from the DT Team are so different, all got their own style and it was great to see them so different from one another.
Now for mine i did a,
Crafters Companion card, with decoupage, twirly ribbon with bells on, accetate window, glitter, just a very pretty card from the cd roms.
A christmas Robin wall hanger for christmas too, the robin is coloured with polychromos pencils, (lovely pencils to work and blend with), onto parchment paper, with some grid work, and layered up onto card, so it was strong enough to be hung.
I love the pencil work of parchment craft, got hooked on this part of it as soon as i learnt it.

Anyway hope you enjoy what i have done and pop along and see the other DT members for what they have been up to...

THE BIG LAUNCH TOMORROW....
